If you spend any amount of time in the planner community (or in the online world in general) you've probably run across these two mindsets - productivity and positivity. From being part of a good vibes tribe to living your best life, there are all sorts of sayings, quotes, master classes, etc on how to be your best and believe in your best all the time.
If you have a chronic illness (or chronic pain, or anxiety, or depression... the list goes on) this trend may make you want to throw your device out the window. Today I am talking (ranting?) about how focusing on productivity and positivity can actually be toxic and demoralizing if not taken in perspective. I don't have answers on how to fix this, but I want to start the conversation.
